SubscriberCounts ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Password (encrypted)
  • Display name and username
  • Profile information you choose to provide (bio, website, etc.)

Email Platform Data

When you connect your email platform (Kit, Beehiiv, MailerLite), we access:

  • Subscriber count only. We read the total number of subscribers.
  • We do not access your subscriber emails, names, or any personal data about your subscribers.
  • We do not access your email content, drafts, or campaigns.

API Keys

Your API keys are encrypted using industry-standard encryption (AES-256) before storage. We never store API keys in plain text and never share them with third parties.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Display your verified subscriber count on your public profile
  • Automatically update your subscriber count
  • Send you important account notifications
  • Improve our service

What We Share

Public profile information (display name, username, bio, subscriber count) is visible on your public profile page. This is the purpose of the service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your email address, API keys, or private account details with third parties.

Data Security

We protect your data through:

  • Encrypted API key storage (AES-256)
  • Encrypted password storage (bcrypt)
  • HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
  • Secure cloud infrastructure (Vercel, Neon)

Data Retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at conrad@subscribercounts.com.

When you disconnect an email platform or delete your account, we delete the associated API keys and stop accessing your subscriber data.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and data
  • Disconnect your email platforms at any time
  • Export your data

Children's Privacy

SubscriberCounts is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
